Creative Aging Conference

Please join us for the third annual Creative Aging Conference as we continue to explore the vital relationship between creative expression, aging well, and teaching artistry.

Our culture is coming to accept the vital relationship between creative expression and aging well. The quality of life for seniors – and then of course, their loved ones – is significantly enhanced when our seniors are involved in intentional creative expression.

The demand is exploding across the state for Creative Aging residencies lead by trained, professional artists.  Artists are working in senior centers, community centers, residential communities, and even health care settings. The June 23rd conference will, of course, reinforce what we have learned about the benefits of creative involvement for seniors; but we also learn from the experiences of teaching artists who are engaged in the work.

Teaching artist Margot Greenlee will return as lead facilitator and “dance” us through the physical, social, and emotional benefits of age-appropriate movement and best practices. As always, the Creative Aging conference will be interactive – come prepared to participate, learn and have fun; you will leave refreshed and energized.

Early-bird registration NOW OPEN.  Scholarships available until May 1, 2017. For paid registration, Click here.
